Restoring your face the morning after a night out

We've all had those late nights where we go to bed with our makeup on, having drunk a bit the night before. All the makeup, sweat and alcohol does not do your skin any good, and in the morning you wake up with a massive crop of spots and feeling pretty low. Not to worry - here are some tips to be back on track and have glowing healthy skin.

1. Remove your makeup - it's just clogging your pores

2. Shower - not only will this make you feel 10x better but it will also open your pores up. Wash your face whilst in the shower - remove all the grime and oil

3. Use a face mask - my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE for getting rid of spots quickly that pop up after a night out is the Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed mask. It is such a quick mask to do, and I love the self-heating element. It also makes my skin feel so fresh and clean - it just wakes up your skin and will reduce the size of those pesky spots SUPER FAST.

4. Brush your teeth - it makes you feel fresh and more awake. You could even go as far as to whiten your teeth (I prefer natural methods), especially if you didn't brush your teeth the night before.

5. Stay hydrated - drink lots of water to replenish your skin. I also like to make a smoothie. For extra energy use maca powder in your smoothie.

6. Exercise - obviously this depends on your state, but I recommend doing at least some light exercise in order to rejuvenate your body.
