La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel For Oily Sensitive Skin

I know I'm a bit late on the band wagon with this product, but I only just got it, after wanting it for so long. La Roche-Posay are a little more expensive than your usual drugstore brand, but it's totally worth it. As we've been in winter recently I have been using this product less frequently because I'm starting to get dry skin, so it's better for me to use a cream cleanser every so often.
Suffering from bad breakouts means I'm always up for trying new weird and wonderful ways to clear my skin (not that this is weird-it's just a regular cleanser!). After using this cleanser morning and night for about a week, I noticed my blemishes had gone down and were staying down. It's now been just over a month and I'm still so happy with the results it has given me. It made me realise that with skin care, there really is no short route, but cleansing twice a day and having a set routine that you stick to will help clear your acne for the long term. Maybe for the next blog post I'll do my updated skin care routine.
This isn't a morning cleanser, so it doesn't make it feel like you've rubbed mint all over your face when you use it (although sometimes I like that refreshing feeling). You only need a very small amount and as you rub it it will start foaming. Now you're not going to get huge bubbles and grow a bubble beard, but it foams just enough for your fingers to slide easily around your face. I like to go around my face in circular motions with three fingers so that every area of the face is focused on, and I can get into all the nooks and crannies, like around my nose and under my mouth, places where it tends to get very oily.
Great product and great results.
